ROYAL NEPAL GOLF CLUB
Interestingly placed beside the airport strip at Tilonga, experience the delight of playing on a course that had it beginnings under a ruling rana in 1829. Earning royal status in 1911, this course offers professional help, along with practice facilities to meet the demands of the most meticulous golfer.
GOKARNA FOREST GOLF RESORT
Just 10 miles from the bustling capitol of Kathmandu, this world class course, designed by David Kidd, is Nepal’s only international standard 18 hole golf course. This 6,715 yards, par 72 course will challenge the best that golf has to offer.
HIMALAYAN GOLF COURSE
To the west of Kathmandu, some 200 kms, and 7 kms from Pokhara, is the 9 hole course called the Himalayan Golf Course. Located in a sprawling canyon created by the melting snow waters of the Bijayapur River, every tee off position is a scenic wonder. With 6900 yards and a par of 73, the 11 greens present a visual, as well as rewarding golfing experience.
The famous island course hole is a challenge that varies with the river, calm or boiling with spring run off, a golfer’s experience not to be missed!
YETI’S GOLF COURSE
This very challenging course is located overlooking the Seti River at the Fulbari Resort & Spa in Pokhara. Because of its location, players often have to navigate sand traps, water hazards and on occasion 300 feet gorges that intersect the course. Even at only 9 holes the course plays like a full one and draws golfers from all over the world. Unlike some this course is playable all year long.
NIRVANA COUNTRY CLUB
Located just 45 minutes from the Biratnagar airport in Dharan, this 18 hole golf course is located at the Nirvana Country Club Health & Golf Resort. The par 70, 5,990 yard course is one of Nepal’s oldest and is playable year round.
