Let us take you on a journey with a delightful blend of high adventure and exotic scenery along the route of the Qinghai-Tibet railway, the world’s highest railway. The rail line runs above 13000 feet above sea level for more than 80 percent of the route and tops at a height of 16,640 feet on top of the Tibetan Plateau, covering a distance of around 4065 kilometers. This magical trip takes 48 hours from Beijing to the capital city of Lhasa, Tibet. The power for the train is provided by three 3,800 horse power diesel locomotives. You will start your trip from the ancient capital and bustling city of Beijing. Explore the amazing historical world heritage sites including THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven.
